Grays Hall Real Estate Limited was formed in Scotland in October 1981. We relocated to Mallorca in 1988 and the Company is now established as a fully legalized, registered Spanish Estate Agency and Limited Company. Based on Mallorca, we specialize in the highly desirable South West area from Palma to Andratx. We maintain contacts with reputable Estate Agents in the UK and on occasion, we collaborate with a very few highly respected Agents on Mallorca.

We want our clients to buy through our offices, not our rivals – therefore we must provide balanced, professional advice to give our clients the confidence to let us earn our commission by buying that dream home using our services - and not those of our competitors.

FINDING THE RIGHT PROPERTY

A constant complaint we hear is that other Estate Agents rush the client around too many properties, with the buyer ending up exhausted and confused. We endeavor to determine and qualify our client’s requirements before viewing – thereby showing only the properties that fulfill our client’s needs and wishes. We are busy people, and we know our buying and selling clients are too – so let’s not waste everyone’s time showing and visiting unsuitable properties!

NO PRESSURE TO BUY

There are agents who will pressure the client into buying. This may be acceptable for many consumer goods but we say that a home is a major purchase that cannot be pressured or rushed in to. Pressure selling has no place in our company.

FINANCING YOUR NEW HOME OR INVESTMENT

Spanish mortgage rates are a lot lower than in the U.K., and so many of our clients are opting for finance here in Spain secured over their Spanish property rather than on a home in the U.K. We can provide advice in total confidence on the best way to finance your purchase. (All your confidential information is protected by stringent data protection laws here in Spain.)

MINIMUM OF HASSLE

Most of our clients are unaware of the pitfalls and local conveyancing laws within Spain. We endeavour to guide the client through the buying process by explaining, step-by-step, the procedures to buy that dream home in the Mediterranean sun!

WORRY FREE PURCHASE

We've all heard the stories about a property purchase in a foreign land that has gone wrong; and Spanish conveyancing laws and procedures are very, very different to those which apply in the U.K. We therefore advise that our buying clients use the services of a fully qualified, independent, Spanish lawyer to guide them through the entire procedure. We therefore, unlike many of our competitors, do not employ our own Lawyers and recommend Independent Legal Counsel.

AFTER SALES CARE

Unlike many Estate Agents, our job does not finish when you get the keys. We maintain a constant contact with our clients and assist in every facet of living in a foreign country where language and customs might raise questions. From a dentist to a plumber, from schools to shopping, buying a car, health care, you name it - we are at your disposal until you feel you no longer need our help – even if it takes years!
